Within a certain range, the smaller the surface roughness of the friction pair, the stronger the anti-adhesion ability.
Abrasive wear: When large and hard particles are sandwiched between the friction pairs, many grooves are created on the surface of the part, forming a micro-turning process, which is called abrasive wear.
Methods to reduce abrasive wear: A good working environment can effectively reduce the wear of lung materials; the higher the hardness of the material, the better the wear resistance and the smaller the wear;
Fatigue wear: When the surface of the part is repeatedly subjected to high-strength loads such as extrusion, the material on the surface of the part will gradually break into pieces, causing pits on the surface of the part, which is called fatigue wear or pitting.
The method of reducing fatigue wear: the higher the surface hardness, the less possibility of fatigue cracks and the stronger the ability to resist fatigue wear; improving the surface quality can improve the fatigue resistance of parts; adding high content of drilling lubricants can greatly to improve the fatigue resistance of parts.
Corrosion and Wear: Surface corrosion and wear occur when fluids containing hard particles impinge on solid surfaces, such as erosion of river beds, and are sometimes used to clean up drilling sand foundry attached to them. High-speed air jet casting with hard sand particles can effectively remove the drilling sand and bumps on the surface of the casting, making the surface of the casting cleaner and smoother.
Influencing factors: The hardness of the abrasive particles and the friction coefficient between the abrasive particles and the solid surface are the reasons.
Corrosion and wear: The loss of material caused by the corrosion of friction pairs is called corrosive wear, which can result in frictionless wear. In a humid environment, corrosion wear is even faster than other wear, so instant noodle machinery cannot be left idle for a long time.
