The brine mixer is mainly used to mix and blend water-soluble additives such as salt and alkali that are easily soluble in water. It is equipped with a stirrer to accelerate the dissolution of salt and other additives. It can be automatically controlled, with automatic water inflow. The volume of the brine tank is determined by the production capacity, and generally can accommodate one shift of mixing water. Double tank automatic switching can also be set.

The material of the brine mixer should be made of corrosion-resistant stainless steel, and equipped with a liquid level indicator, measuring device, drain valve, etc. It is worth noting that the outlet pipe should not be placed at the lowest part generally, because impurities in the salt will settle at the bottom after dissolving the salt. If water with impurities at the bottom is supplied to the mixer, it will affect the final product quality and taste. It is best not to make the saltwater tank flat bottomed, as impurities that settle down are not easily released. Generally, it is made conical bottomed, so that the sewage and sediment from cleaning the tank can be easily discharged through the valve at the bottom.
